Autistic/ADHD individuals have differences to non-autistic/ADHD peers, in how they experience sensory input, executive functioning, social and communication preferences
Just like all adults, an autistic/ADHD person possesses strengths and aspirations, can be highly capable in work however may struggle more than non-autistic/ADHD peers, without the right environment and support
Over years supporting talented, intelligent, hard working clients, many stories of often hidden feelings of overwhelm, exhaustion, self-doubt emerged. From this clinical experience, a need was identified for an employe support program providing targeted, practical support for working neurodivergent adults
Organisations utilising this program are investing in meaningful, targeted support for employees, as it is provided by an experienced Occupational Therapist that understands the particular needs of autistic and ADHDer (and those with traits of) adults and offers focussed sessions to address specific work-related concerns with targeted, evidence-based interventions

Employee Support Program for Neurodivergent Adults provides tailored, targeted education and resources for employees to build self -understanding, and explore evidence based, affirming and practical strategies to better meet sensory needs at work, manage energy/pace, consider low cost, easily implemented and reasonable accomodations to work practices and environments

Occupational Therapy (OT) focus on promoting health and wellbeing by enabling people to participate in the everyday occupations of life, such as self-care and household activities, education and work, caring for others; leisure and social activities.
OT is client-centred, and looks at the factors that support or act as barriers to the person engaging in an activity they need or want to do. This involves considering the interaction of factors related to the:
- Person: strengths, interests, preferences, health factors, capacity/skills etc.
- Occupation: what is involved in /are the demands of the activity
- Environment that activity is to be performed in: supports, systems, ,physical environment, cultural/social elements etc
Then together with the client developing and implementing a plan with strategies that support their participation in the activity which may be through education, modifying an activity and/or an environment.
